I founded McBuzz Communications in 2005. The firm is dedicated to helping clients take stock of their business objectives and their existing online presence in order to create an effective online marketing plan. We are a Seattle-based company specializing in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Marketing and WordPress Websites and Blogs. We also offer Google AdWords and Google Analytics consulting, usually in combination with our SEO, social media and WordPress work.

My background in Web coding and development gives me an edge when it comes to the technical side of search engine optimization and social media. At McBuzz we take a holistic approach to marketing, using traditional and new media in concert. Blogging and YouTube are not for everyone. Clients must feel comfortable with marketing platforms in order to benefit from their use. We help clients find the right media mix to get the job done.

From 2000 to 2005, I worked for graphic design and marketing communications firm Bradley Brown Design Group in Carnegie, PA, just south of Pittsburgh. I worked with three of the best designers in Western Pennsylvania, and I was responsible for a portfolio of Web development and marketing communications projects. We served a broad range of industries, including health care, finance, education, manufacturing and aerospace, with clients like Goodyear, PPG Industries, PPG Aerospace, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and FreeMarkets (now Ariba).

In 1998-1999, I worked as a designer and illustrator at Black Box Corporation in Lawrence, PA. Prior to that, I studied the History and Philosophy of Science on a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, receiving a master’s degree in 1997.
